A Master Mariner and FICS with 16 years of sailing experience on various types of ships (Bulk Carrier, Tanker and Container vessels). Significant commercial and operating experience in shore-based Shipping of more than 20 years, totalling over 36 years of experience in Shipping. Instrumental in launching third-party operating business in TMILL (Joint venture of Tata Steel, NYK, and Martrade). Had a tenure of nearly 2 decades heading one of the most profitable Tata Group companies, International Shipping and Logistics FZE (ISL) Dubai. Led various shipping projects including Indian coastal container service, RO-RO trade, Liquid Cargo trade, Ship Owning, Towage, and Harbour services. Well-known in the industry for being an active speaker in various maritime forums.
